Lunchtime Concert | Melody Huang (piano)

10-year-old Melody Huang is a Year 5 student at Strathcona Girls Grammar, studying piano with Dr Helen Kasztelan. Melody has won nearly 30 first prizes in various piano competitions. At the age of 8, Melody was awarded a High Distinction in both the AMEB Certificate of Performance and Con Brio Examinations Performance Diploma piano examinations. She will perform music by J.S. Bach, Haydn, Rachmaninov, and Debussy.

About our Lunchtime Concert Series:
A series of lunchtime concerts was launched in April 2013 to encourage city workers and others to come into and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Cathedral during the day. These weekly concerts at 1pm on Wednesdays provide fine music and space for contemplation in the midst of a busy week.
